Today would be a great day to put some weight in a pack and go do some scouting, hang a tree stand or check those trail camera. Make sure that you get some shooting in, and stick to a healthy nutrition plan this weekend. As a trainer with 15 plus years of experience under my belt, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had clients that would workout hard during the week and eat to perfect for four and a half days, but when it came to the weekends, they seem to fall off the wagon. Now I’m not saying that you have to eat clean every day, but if you start Friday night and don’t get back on schedule until Monday, your taking 40% of the week off. You can still make progress with this schedule, however, you can vastly increase the speed in which you will reach your goals if you cut that weekend warrior stuff. So get some sleep, eat healthy, shoot, and have some fun!
