  1. Awesome workout. Nothing like squats to blow off a little steam. Dan or Kenton, is there a general rule of thumb as to what weight to use before adding chains? Keep ‘em comming guys great work!

  2. Kenton Clairmont says:

    Jared…
Just us normal warm-up weight for you, then instead of adding those #25, #45, whatever, add the chains. The chains will be awkward at first, but great for getting through that mid range sticking point! Keep working Jared…Hope that helped.

  3. Ok thanks Kenton. Thats pretty much what I how I approached it.

  4. I love this site it is a great idea I do a lot of training and helping people train to get in shape for hunting and back packing as well. I thing the vids and style of workouts are great but I was hoping to make a quick suggestion. Anyone trying these workouts if you can, even if it means using a little less weight try and stay away from using weight lifting belts. If you use these belts your body actually becomes use to it and starts to rely on it. Lets face it you aren’t going to be wearing these weight belts while out hunting or back packing in the mountains. I guarantee if you don’t use weight belts for assistance your support muscles in your core will become much stronger increasing your strength a lot as well as your balance and then later on your over all success in the field.
